NATIONAL RESOURCE CENTER FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY IN CHILD CARE

The National Resource Center is located at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado, and is funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, HRSA. NRC's primary mission is to promote health and safety in out-of-home child care settings throughout the nation.

Child Care Links Founded in 1976, Child Care Links (formerly Resources for Family Development) is a not-for-profit tax exempt agency (501-C-3) serving Southern Alameda County as a: Coordinating Agency for services that strengthen and support children and their families; Advocate for quality child care; Consultant to government and business to plan child care programs. The Agency was established in response to the State of California's interest in establishing innovative systems to deliver child care services.

Child Care Links documents and disseminates current statistical information about the supply and demand for child care services and serves the community in an advisory capacity to develop strategies to meet child care needs.

CCLC is the only organization in the country that focuses exclusively on the complex legal issues surrounding the establishment and provision of child care.
